Meanwhile, Aasha, who portrayed the role of Chelsea Lewis, on the hit series, South of Nowhere, has joined forces with the police to try and find out her missing sister. She has been reported as saying that she feels that Leslie might have met with some tragedy, as otherwise she would definitely have contacted her family to let them know about her whereabouts.

However, Aasha has not lost all hope and she wants her sister to return home safely. Although Spencer and Ashley were the pivotal characters, but the other characters surrounding them were given equal importance. All of them had their own share of happiness, woes, love and heartbreaks.

Perhaps that was the reason why it became so popular across all age groups. I am really disappointed that the show could not be revived for another season at least. But anyways, sometimes it is better to end a show at a high point than let it be dragged on which will only degenerate its quality. At least in this manner we remember South of Nowhere as one of the classics of American television.

I am really excited about the movie, especially since it will give me a chance to watch my hero from South of Nowhere, Matthew Cohen in action once more. I relly loved his performance on the show and he has earned a place in my list of favorite actors for a lifetime.

I really miss ‘South of Nowhere’, which ended on the 12th of December. It has left a void which is difficult to fill as you rarely find good shows which honestly deal with the issue of lesbianism in such a sensitive manner. There have been speculations about whether the show would have been able to maintain its high standards, had it been allowed to continue. However I personally feel the show had a strong storyline and given a chance would have achieved even greater heights. It is really sad that a good show had to be so short lived. Anyways I still believe that this is not the end of the road for our favorite Spashley and soon they will reemerge somewhere though it is difficult to say when and where. Hey people don’t get me wrong. What I meant was that I love the way Mandy Musgrave depicts the character of Ashley Davies on the show South of Nowhere. She is my one of my favorite cast members on the show. Her acting talent has been very well developed and she puts life into the character of Ashley. Since Ashley is the main character of the series, it was necessary that the person who played her has the ability and the confidence to stand up to the challenges that might portrayal of the role. The character of Ashley has been shown to have different shades throughout the series. While she is confident about her sexual preferences and is not ashamed to let the world know about it, she is also jealous if anyone comes close to her ex-boyfriend Aiden or her lover throughout the series Spencer. Though initially she is afraid of committed relationship with Spencer, in the later part of the series she is shown to be very keen about commitment. She is not very close to her mother but loves her estranged father who is a rock star.

To display all these different emotions needed a really talented actress which Mandy is. She has been able to convince the audience about Ashley’s various emotions, be it anger, happiness, jealousy, deception or any other feeling through her expressions as well as her voice tones. It is really a treat to watch her in action. She transforms the whole scenario, bringing it closer to reality.
