Aasha Davis is an African American actress who was born in DC but was bought up in Barbados in a boarding school. She is a good friend of actresses Judy Greer and Kellymarie Demaray. Her favorite pass time activities are riding her bike, making greeting cards, playing the guitar and taking road trips as well as going for hiking trips. She is also a book lover and her favorite titles include 365 Tao, Me Talk Pretty One Day and The Beach.

Besides working in South of Nowhere, she has also appeared in shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Friday Night Lights, ER, The Shield, Gilmore Girls, Las Vegas and Scratch & Bum etc. In addition she has also appeared in films like Wait, Action Her00, Who Killed The Idea, American Gun, Bittersweet Lies and Novel Romance.

Role In South of Nowhere.

In South of Nowhere, she plays the role of Chelsea Lewis, the love interest of Clay Carlin. She helps him through many issues that trouble him after moving from Ohio to Los Angeles. When she becomes pregnant with Clay’s baby, she plans to abort the child but Clay’s support and his subsequent death result in her changing that plan. She however loses her baby when someone rams into Glen’s car while she is sitting in it. Towards the end of the third season, Glen comes out in open confessing his love for her.
