Danso Gordon was, born and bought up in Canada. He has been deeply interested in performing arts since his childhood. That was why he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. He first appeared on television in 1995 in the popular series Street Cents. He later went on to work in shows like Sliders, Hang Time, Get Real, In a Heartbeat, Myth Quest, before being cast for South of Nowhere. In addition he has also worked in the films American History X, Dear Wendy, Dirty Deeds, Crescendo, Blu_Scum and Dark House. He was also the co-director of the short film COLE which won the Best Actor in a Short Film at Playhouse West Film Festival. Very few people are aware of the fact that Danso is an asthma patient.
Role In South of Nowhere
In South of Nowhere, he played the role of Clay Carlin. He is the adopted son of Paula and Arthur Carlin. On shifting to Los Angeles he has face issues which are mostly based on racial discrimination. He finds a good friend in Sean and also starts dating Chelsea, who later becomes pregnant with his child. Clay is also fanatic about finding his natural parents and in the process ends up meeting his natural mother who later moves to LA to be near him. Towards the end of the second season, he is killed in a shootout after the prom night at school.
