Eileen April Boylan was born in Acton to Francis and Merlie Boylan. She is an American actress of Filipina/Irish ascent as her Father is Irish and her mother belongs to Philippines. She is the youngest of three siblings. Her elder brother is named Tom while her eldest sister is named Marea. Very few people know that she is passionately in love with music. She has been a friend of co-star Chris Hunter before they were cast together for South of Nowhere.

Besides South of Nowhere, this young, talented and versatile actress has been seen in shows like Days of Our Life, Greek, Special Unit 2, Strong Medicine, The Amanda Show and Four Corners etc. In addition she has also worked in the films Making Change, Dakota Skye, Sleepover and Alex in Wonder. Role In South of Nowhere.

In South of Nowhere, she plays the role of Kyla Woods, the step sister of Ashley. She surfaces on the death of their father Raife Davies. She dates Aiden but hides from him the fact that she has a boyfriend in Baltimore. When Aiden comes to know of this truth, through Madison, he breaks up with Kyla. Although initially she finds it difficult to accept Ashley as her sister, however towards the end of the third season, Kyla and Ashley come to terms about their relation and begin to develop a sister like bond between themselves.
