Rob Moran is a versatile and talented American actor. He is married to Julie Moran for the past twenty one years. The couple has two daughters aged ten years and four years. Apart from being a wonderful actor Rob is also passionate about producing and writing. In 2007 his graphical novel Bonesaw was released. Besides working in South of Nowhere, Bob has also appeared in shows such as 3 Way, The United States of Tara, Numb3rs, Without a Trace, CSI: Miami, Days of Our Life, Matlock and Cheers etc. In addition he has acted in numerous films prominent among which are The Outside, 2:13, The Things We Carry, Shallow Hal, Me, Myself and Irene, There Is Something About Mary, Dumb and Dumber and Wedlock etc.
Role In South of Nowhere
In South of Nowhere he plays the role of the father of the Carlin family i.e. Arthur Carlin. Arthur is worshipped as a hero in his hometown of Ohio. But when Paula’s new job forces the family to move to LA, he finds it difficult to adjust to the lifestyle of the new city. His marriage is under strain and his kids are going astray. However he is determined to keep his family together against all odds. He even stands up for Spencer, whenever Paula tries to fight with her regarding her homosexuality.
