Hey everyone. Well I thought to share the general views of the audience about our favorite show South of Nowhere with you. While surfing the net, I came across numerous sites where users were able to leave a comment for this show. After going through many of the comments, it would not be wrong to say that this is one of the most liked shows on television. It seems that most of the viewers agree with the fact that this is a very well written and skillfully directed series. The sensitivity with which the series has raised various issues related to teenagers such as sexual orientation, racism, identity crisis, cyber bullying, virginity and dating etc has actually set the show apart from others of its genre. The characters and scenarios are both unbelievingly real and affect the life of many teenagers across the nation. They connect with the characters as they feel that they are going through the same situations in life. This is also one of the major reasons for the shows immense success.

The news about the cancellation of the show has resulted in many protest mails and blogs cropping up on the net. This alone is proof enough about the way the show is being receive by the public. There are people who feel that the show is too lenient about its content on sexual preferences and the language and behavior of the characters is too sexually charged. But I personally feel that this has merely been done to make the characters more realistic. The series acts as a teaching ground where parents can learn about what their teenage children want from them and in turn what they should expect from their children. Overall I feel that the series has been able to blend the needs of mature teens of modern age with the traditional dating and high school behavior of their adults. In short I would say that it is an awesome show and I really love it.
